For all sailing enthousiasts you should consider trying our 16"HOBIE CAT. It is a very friendly and easy to use catamaran that could immediately thrill you with its top end speed but at the same time its smooth, easy to control feeling. Even if you don't have any previous sailing experience you will find our instructors willing to guide you through your first steps in sailing.
Windsurfing
As a specialist Watersports provider, Macronissos Watersports, could never set aside a sport that is constantly advancing........windsurfing. Therefore we have equipped ourselves with two free ride boards an EXOCET NANO 155 and a NAISH ICON 145, that are easy planning, smooth feeling boards that are great for intermediate windsurfers and two STARBOARD START LARGE which are the best choice for complete beginers. We offer a wide range of sails for use with these boards that variate between 7.6m to 4.0m of which the larger ones are free ride sails and the smaller ones are for beginner use.
The conditions at the beach are great for beginners, about 5-10 kph in the evenings with wind speeds rarely reaching the 20-30 kph range. This makes the spot ideal for intermediate riders to practice on their new moves. This equipment will be available for hire by the general public on a daily basis, weather permitting.
However, windsurfing courses are only available during the morning hours. These lessons are available only on weekdays from 9:00am until 11:00am and only after prior arrangement.
